Why not have your own website designed to promote your book?

IMPORTANT - Your website and domain name will be your property - even after two years. All domain registrations will be in your name.

Be careful of websites ‘backed’ onto the websites of publishing companies example; www.publishingco.uk/books/jondoe

This is NOT your own site and you are simply renting it - plus it does not look professional.

You will OWN this authors self published website - GHP will only host it. Even after two years its your property.

Your authors website will be 'live' for 24 months.
Your website will be placed on our GHP server for a whole two years.
You choose and own your domain name (www.mybooktitle.co.uk)
GHP will register a .co.uk website name on your behalf and in your name - you will legally own it, all paperwork will be passed onto you.
We will aim to purchase the name of your choice - however, if this name is already taken, we will liaise with you to decide the next best name for your site. It will be registered for two years in your name. After the two years, it is your responsibility to renew this name should you wish to keep it.
Your authors website will be placed on our main GHP server for two years. After two years you may continue to host with us if you wish. Costs will be available nearer the time of expiry.
You will be able to choose from 6 template designs that GHP offer.
Your authors website will include 6 web pages;
Stock Photographs - We can use up to 5 stock photographs to help with the look of your website.

Home page - this will be the main page when someone enters your site.

Contact page - this page will hold whatever contact details you choose. *Please note; you will enter your existing email address here. GHP cannot provide any email set-up.

About Author - you can write a small biography about yourself and add pictures (up to 2 pictures), should you choose!

About my book - here you will be able to write about your book and we can include a PDF file of one of the chapters - if you wish. Pictures can also please placed on this page. (up to 2 pictures)

Order my book - this page will be a simple order form for anyone online, who would like to email you with a book order. This is not e-commerce - it is a basic email order form, that you will receive via email

Readers Comments - this page can be for any reviews or reader comments that you wish to place online. * If you prefer, this page could be changed to another page of your choosing.
A hit counter on the home page - this will display how many unique people have visited your website.
A direct link to your book page on Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com

Submission to Google, Yahoo and Ask - we will submit your site to these three main search engines. GHP would like to point out that search engine submission does not guarantee a position in the top 10! Thousands of sites are submitted every day - therefore we cannot do anything other than submit your details to these search engines. A typical submission take approximately 2-3 months for the search engines to acknowledge your site.
Search engine optimised - your website will be optimised for best possible exposure on the major search engines. All pictures and images with be optimised for maximum search engine potential. Keywords, descriptions, etc will all be aimed at getting your website into Google, Yahoo, and Ask.

EXTRAS
Should you wish to have additional pages on your website, each page (depending upon complexity) will cost from £75.
Any updates/amendments will be charged at £35 per hour - minimum charge is £35.
If you want a .com name as well we can purchase this and link both .co.uk and the .com sites together for a charge of £55

Your website will contain 6 pages.

Home, contact, about author, about my book, order my book and readers comments.

These pages will allow anyone to get to know you and your book. It will also have it’s own unique web address.
